Japanese retailer Uniqlo has already established a stable presence here in the States. They currently run 20 stores throughout the country on the East and West Coasts. The chain will reportedly open five new stores this summer and has recently announced new store plans in multiple cities.
Six new Uniqlo stores wil open in the greater Boston area, four of which will open later this year, with a pop-up shop and flagship store opening in summer 2015. The Philadelphia area will also be home to two new Uniqlo stores in the fall, but the popular King of Prussia Mall will have its grand store opening this Friday, May 16. Uniqlo also confirmed new upcoming store openings in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, and northern and southern California later this year, with more markets to still be announced.
Known for stylish basics and unique collaborations, Uniqlo is definitely a popular growing chain that could soon be in your nearby mall. Fashion paragons like Pharrell and Michael Bastian have designed successful lines for the retailer that will now be more accessible to shopping addicts everywhere.
