Being a trendsetter in fashion is oddly not about being within the current trend. Real trendsetters jump the trend and thus fashion week is too late for them. They need to create the trend, so that designers will look to them for inspiration. However for those of us that are just fashion forward, there's the opportunity to just be an innovator and take a twist on the ideas proposed during Fashion Week.
These "fashion forward" individuals try to stay so up to date, they were wearing orange literally the day following Spring 2014 Fashion Week, indicating they knew "Orange Is the New Black". Yes, we are looking at you Lupita. The trend that is proposed for this fall is the Midi-Skirt. Oriana Campanella of Stylexis lets us in on the trend and for the uninitiated, she proposes a few style ideas as well.
