Break a Sweat: Clothes You Should Never Workout In


Workout clothes were designed so you’re more comfortable when you sweat, run, stretch, or start to smell. Workout clothes are usually made of cotton, spandex, polyester, and the latest technologies of dri-fit, or anti-perspiration. We’re always looking to wear the most stylish clothes or the most fun colored clothes to the gym so it still amazes me when I see people working out in jeans or flip flops.

I know things come up; meetings get cancelled so now you have this extra hour to go to the gym, but you forgot your gym clothes, etc. But workout clothes were made for support and comfort so try to leave an extra pair of gym clothes in your locker or leave a pair in your office drawer along with extra sneakers for when these things happen.

Jeans Or Jean Shorts 

I cannot imagine all that chaffing going on

I don’t want to join the staring fest when she starts jumping

 

A Full Face Of Makeup

I get it, there are definitely some hotties in the gym, but don’t be one of those girls with two black eyes when you’re done running

Built for fashion, not twisting your ankle at the gym

 

See Through Leggings

 

Please do the bend over test in the dressing room before you purchase them or wear them out in public

 

Flip Flops 

Extremely dangerous if you drop something, a weighted plate falling on your foot in sneakers hurts enough. Let's just save these for beachwear and locker room showers, not on the fitness floor.
