People everywhere are obsessed with celebrities. We follow their every move, cry about their problems and celebrate their successes. As much as we love our favorite celebrities, its inevitable that a beloved celebrity makes a mistake and then we turn on them. We chastise their every movement, criticize their every decision and bemoan their inevitable return to grace ( a la Chris Brown and Britney Spears ).
However, no matter what the most essential detail of a celebrity's life is what they wear. Every style decision is scrutinized to the max and entertainment empires have been erected as a result of a celebrity's fashion. With Spring officially over, here's a look back at some of our favorite celebrities screwing up the most essential detail of their life. Nine of the top fashion fails so far this year.
Skylar Grey

So apparently, wearing an entirely nude outfit is not a thing, at least not in 2014 and definitely not on the red carpet of one of the largest awards shows on television. The only problem here is that Skylar Gray missed the memo and wore this entirely nude Michael Costello gown. She also had nude / neutral makeup and had slicked back hair. Basically nude on nude on nude.
Kaya Jones

Kaya Jones. Kaya Jones. As a note, this image is also from the 2014 Grammys which featured Kaya Jones sporting a all black leather dress with slits to the waist and daring neckline. She did a great impersonation of a Halloween costume and definitely Trinity from the Matrix comes to mind, however the fashion world will agree that Trinity wore it better.
Then again Kaya Jones was also seen wearing the style below to a pre-Grammy celebration party. At least she doesn't deviate from her trends.

While Coachella isn't really known for super stylish and award winning fashion, it is a street style extravaganza with popular fashion bloggers, style experts and lifestyle publications. Anywhere that a Huffington Post journalist and Glamour editor are attending should warrant some attention to your style. Ke$ha, for all the dollar signs in her name wasn't paying the right amount of attention to her outfit.
Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga is well known for her eccentric style, but her most unusual garments are usually reserved for the concert hall. As a costume, this outfit goes right in line with the shocking songstress' body of work; but considering that this was a street style look and additionally the fact that it was roughly -5 C, its a tad out of place. Then again, this is Lady Gaga.
Diddy and Cassie

Diddy style has come a long way since his "Gangsta" rapper phase of the late 1990s. However, Diddy must have seen Coachella as an excuse to regress and Cassie came along for the ride. We've come to expect better from the mulit-millionaire owner of a contemporary fashion label, but everyone has their off days.
Gabrielle Union

If we had to guess the conversation between her publicist, Nicole King, and a reporter, it probably went something like this: "Yes, Gabrielle Union did in fact attend the Met Gala wearing a two-piece Prada outfit . . . No, we don't believe the outfit wasn't completed . . . No, she is not auditioning for a role in Black Swan II".
Kate Upton

To round out the list, Kate Upton made sure that she would wear a piece that would get her centerfold on the tabloids. Designer label? Check. Dolce & Gabbana. Exposed Neckline? Check. Down to mid-bust. 9 PM Friday on E! Double check; an easy entry to Fashion Police.
